Advanced Industrial Systems Limited have been presented with the Malta Enterprise Award in the Entrepreneurship Category in recognition of its continuous efforts to promote technology.

During 2003, the company became the first Maltese company to have designed and developed its own SCADA system which system forms the backbone for the online data acquisition of Water Services Corporation, the national utility for water in Malta.  AIS have also been entrusted to extend the SCADA system for the waste water systems operated by the same corporation.
