The Maritim Antonine Hotel & Spa has recently undergone a refurbishment, with two new floors and 50 new rooms added to the 4-star facility. The Room Energy Management System installed by AIS Technology was extended to cater for these new rooms.

Maritim Antonine Hotel & Spa took advantage of the backward compatibility feature of Trend Controls hardware to extend their existing energy management system with the latest available room controllers. The onsite BMS supervisor software was modified to ensure that hotel managers and staff can see all their data on a single platform.

Bus technology communication allows maintenance staff to collect data from all rooms across the facility, ensuring that energy consumption is kept to a minimum and client satisfaction is maintained. The latest range of room automation controllers respond quicker to guest actions, fit in smaller enclosures and meet the performance requirements befitting of a 21st century 4-star resort. A complementary Energy Monitoring system also keeps track of the energy consumption and usage throughout other areas of the hotel.

Room Energy Management at Maritim Antonin

AIS Technology delivered an integrated Room Energy Management System at the 4 start Seashells Resort at Suncrest in Qawra, Malta.

The system, installed in 452 rooms across the hotel, manages the energy and lighting systems in each room. Thanks to our REMS solution, the Seashells Resort at Suncrest is benefitting from:

  • Reduced electricity and running costs
  • Improved guest comfort

AIS have successfully completed the supply and installation of a purpose built Building Management System (BMS) at the new Amino Chemicals headquarters. The BMS system installed for this leading Italian pharmaceutical manufacturer monitors and controls key components within the building.

The BMS is constantly monitoring and controlling the air-conditioning and the ventilation systems, highlighting faults such as blocked air filters and tripped fan motors to staff as soon as they occur. Apart from ensuring comfortable operating climates, the system also offers advanced safety and security features. The BMS continuously looks out for faults in safety-critical components within the building.
