Ing. Anthony Bartolo is the new General Manager at AIS, Advanced
Industrial Systems Ltd.
A graduate in B.Mech.Eng.(Hons), Mr. Bartolo
has held various managerial posts during his
career since completing his studies in 1988.
Mr.Bartolo started his engineering career
at Enemalta Corporation as a Professional
Officer, following which he joined SGS-Thomson
as a Process Engineer and later as Production

the engineering industry, not only in Malta
but also overseas. I am very keen to start
working with this exceptional team to expand
and develop our products, services and systems,
enabling us to grow hand in hand with our
esteemed customers."
AIS Managing Director, Ing.Mario Schembri,
believes that this new post within the organization
was a timely one due to the company's expansion
and its plans to develop the company's export
market further. "It is no coincidence
that this important appointment was made
in our fifteenth year of operations, as
it is now opportune to strengthen the various
branches of our Group of Companies."
Established in 1991, Advanced Industrial
Systems Limited is the founder company of
the AIS Group and during its years of operation
has become a major contributor to the evolution
of the engineering industry in Malta.
Its main focus is that of promoting and
applying technology to various customer
needs, by providing an all-encompassing
engineering know-how that ensures customer
oriented solutions. From its original focus
of process automation, AIS has today expanded
into other areas of specialization such
as Biometrics, SCADA, Telemetry, Access
